First painting by Viner that i saw was 'Dark Descends' and right away i thought about Pre-Raphaelite painter John Everett Millais and his 'Ophelia'. To me the mood in both paintings is absolutely the same. No question about it. Wiener has an incredible style that is very modern, but has this "old, traditional" touch in it.
His paintings are disturbing, dark and toned with green color straight out of morque.
We all feel lonely and hopeless sometimes and it's good to have it pictured so vividly in paintings.

Pierwszy obraz Vinera, ktory zobaczyłam to "Dark Descends" i od razu pomyślalam o malarzu z grupy Prerafaeltów Johna Everett Millais i jego "Ofelii". Wiener ma niesamowitą zdolność tworzenia stylu, który jest niezwykle nowoczesny, ale jednocześnie ma w sobie bardzo silne akcenty tradycyjnych mistrzów malarstwa z XIXw.
Jego obrazy pokazują to co nas niepokoi, z czym walczymy, to co w nas mroczne. w jego obrazach świeci chłodne światło jarzeniówek. Ale dobrze jest wiedzieć , że nie jesteśmy sami z naszymi demonami.
